3rd & 4th graders learn about Henry Moore

In Exploratory Arts, 3rd and 4th graders learned about English sculptor Henry Moore by researching in the Tech Lab. In the Art room, they created their own Henry Moore inspired soap sculptures! Art Rocks at Williston Central School!

This is my 11th year teaching at Williston Central School. I teach art to 3rd - 8th graders in Kaleidoscope, Voyager, Harbor, and Stride Houses. I received my Bachelor of Architecture and Masters of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I was in the field of Architecture for 12 years before getting into the Teaching profession. I have traveled extensively and lived in Zimbabwe, Africa in 1986 and '87. My husband and I have also completed a tour of duty in Papua New Guinea as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in 2001.
